Hello. I'm Professor Rex Julius PhD, MSc, MA, RCFE, MBA, BAGA, leader of the Scratch Cats in their fight against the invading mutant rodents.

The Scratch Cats are an elite band of feline fighters dedicated to the protection of Planet Earth. It's a long story, but I formed the Scratch Cats to halt the formidable drive for world domination that evil space rats, Washington and Jefferson, have been planning. They were hand-picked from moggies the world over for their speed, strength and guile. As a group they are a formidable fighting force without equal. Underestimate them at your peril.

Each of the cats featured in the Scratch Cats cartoons has a colourful and exciting past.
He's not from a small island in the middle of the Irish Sea, he's from the Big Apple, and he's hot-tempered and moody. Disturb Manx when he's playing games and you're in trouble. . .

The Scratch Cats will be appearing on PlayStation in Rat Attack (out in September 1999).
