It's Been Emotional
by Pure's Damian Hosen
News of an emotional engine has left us in an emotional state. The Next Generation PlayStation has come and (briefly) gone leaving us industry-types trembling at the knees. The chattering from the pubs is centring around both how the system can change gaming and how come Baywatch isn't on TV anymore? Answers on a postcard to. . .
What a month its been on Rat Attack! There have been several incredibly dubious hair cuts and a more general pervading air of scruffiness. Thank god the game is great! Since we last spoke, two new bosses have been added to the game (one of which is very large and the other very tiny). Beefy Bennett is Bennett the dog's big brother and wields a large baseball bat. His bat is primed to give you a good smacking so it's best not to get too close. Little Yippy Yappy on the other hand needs no weapon to ruffle the Scratch Cats. This hyperactive little Chihuahua attacks you like only a little dog can- very enthusiastically.

One other thing of note this month is the gradual decline in the moral fibre of even the most upstanding Rat Attack team members. What has brought this on? Society is not to blame this time, it is in fact the addition of negative power ups to Rat Attack that is the real cause. Yes the scourge of polite conversation, negative power ups, have been implemented in the last week. Expect to get reverse controls, Rat Skats (all the rats you've caught start popping out of your little Scratch Cat), slow down and cat nap (your cat falls asleep for 5 seconds). Of course you won't get any negative power ups in the game if you're fast enough to avoid the skull and cross bones that carries the diseases. You'd better stay on your paws.
See you next time.
