It is now indisputable. I am the Rat Attack featherweight (oh alright, heavyweight) champion of the world! This month I clocked up an amazing 5.6 million points- smashing the previous record. Taking Muffy Dupont by the paw, I led her through the game, trouncing all the pesky vermin that stood between us and glory. By earning big points early on I was able to get plenty of extra lives for those frantic later stages. I need to make as much of this as I can as the game will be out soon and then I'll be rubbish. At least the score is saved to Memory Card so I can show all my mates!

Anyway, this month we've been adding lots of polish to the game to make it truly shine. The PlayStation is used to full effect with the game running at 60 frames per second and drawing lovely effects all over the screen. Rats fill the levels at quite a rate and you will have to be on your paws to keep up with the pace. Scratch Cat-like reflexes are the order of the day in Rat Attack.

I thought I'd show you some more screen shots this month. I've picked two shots, a sort of cause and effect explanation follows. . .

Here we have Manx surrounded by those pesky rats out in the garden. And what happens if he doesn't kill them all quickly?

This. . .

Here the large Mouth Rat stands next to Manx after chomping through his nine lives.

I've got to go, I need to try and breakthrough the 7 million point barrier before the game is released. See'ya. . .
