Oh LA LA. . .
by Pure's Damian Hosen
As the Rat Attack release approaches, the Scratch Cats have started to train in earnest. The rat menace will hit the streets in late Summer and they need to be ready. Professor Julius has called all the cats back to Scratch Island in preparation for the big off. Meanwhile the rats are busy dirtying themselves in the world's sewers. Their stinky fur will be on parade soon.
The Scratch Cats managed to make it out to the E3 trade show in Los Angeles this year and boy did they have fun. Rat Attack was proclaimed 'game of the show' by journalists from across the globe - all in search of a fun, original game.

We've tried to not let the excited cats distract us from our hard work. Recently we've been tweaking the one-player game to make it as addictive as possible whilst resisting the urge to have "just one more go" on the multiplayer game. Currently I am the Rat Attack world champion, a title that I will probably lose the minute the game is released. It could be you. . .
I've taken a few screen shots this month to show you just how nicely things are coming along. Check these out. . .

This shot shows Beefy Bennett chasing after Smokey. Beefy wields a large baseball bat in his right paw. Stay clear of him and work out how to dispose of this brutal pooch. |
| One of the new power ups in the game is called 'Big Cat'. This turns your cat in to a feline giant, allowing you to run over those pesky rats and squash them in to the turf. When playing the multiplayer game you can jump on your opponents and make them flat cats! |

Here we have Smokey again, watching two rats trying to make a quick getaway. They didn't get very far of course - will you be good enough? |
| Well that's about it from me this month. I'll be back the same time next month with a swanky screen saver for you to download. | |||
